GT LLC is a recently formed technology-based company focused on creating and developing environmentally friendly solutions for the Energy Industry.  GT has developed a proprietary processing chamber along with a patent-pending technology that has a variety of environmentally friendly applications to various industrial processes.  In its initial phase, GT has targeted the Oil Sands industry for application of its technology because of the significant cost savings that GT’s technology can bring to this industry.  

 

The Oil Sands extraction process requires use of water and steam to extract the oil from the sand.  This process, while continually being improved to minimize its negative environmental impact, is nevertheless still not environmentally neutral .  Moreover, it is quite costly, adding an estimated $6 per barrel of needless costs to the production process.  GT’s process is estimated to reduce production energy costs by 80%, eliminate the need for costly chemicals and requires absolutely no water and thus is completely environmentally friendly.
